Where Men Win Glory (Jon Krakauer)

Superb writing on a very difficult subject. Not only presenting Pat Tillman’s life with grace and dignity, Jon explores the lies and misdirection’s of the U.S.Army in this sad tragedy.

He also illuminates the dark recesses of the Pakistani / Afghani sand pit in the current time-frame – especially malfeasance in the officer corps, the Pentagon, and exposes General McChystal for the knave he was.

A book not to be missed by any thinking American.
