Lunchtime is Sacred
Since 28-years of age, I can count on my fingers and toes the number of times I munched lunch in house. In spite of this management transgression, I’ve always held positions of high responsibility. This ‘dereliction of duty’ continued throughout my business career.
Many subordinates would complain; “Why do you always go to lunch, in spite of business pressure.”
My answer? “If I have to miss lunch, then, I know I don’t need you.” in other words, if I have to do someone else’s job, then why were they hired in the first place?
Easy.
